Kate

Kate is such a sweet little girl. One of my favorite memories of her is when we told her we were going to have a baby she starting screaming and jumping up and down on the bed. She was so exited to become a big sister. She loves butterflies and loves being outside. She and Laura are best friends, it is wonderful. She is always concerned with others. She has a very loving heart! We are lucky to have her.

Laura

These are some of my favorite pictures of Laura. Laura is such a special little girl. She is so caring and loving . She loves being a big sister! She is going to go on to do great things. She is so friendly and loves people. She looks a lot like her mom but has Aaron's gorgeous blue eyes. Kate and Austin are both lucky to have her as a big sister! She loves horses, sometimes she will gallop like a horse, she even neighs sometimes. She is very active and loves soccer. One of my favorite memories of Laura was a few years ago. I was combing her hair and made a comment that she had wonderful highlights.. I asked her where she got her great highlights and without missing a beat she said, Jesus gave them to her. She is darling!

Our Little Guy-- The McKay Dee Hospital

So this picture was taken about a month ago. Its no secret... we have a little cutie! For those of you that don't know yet we have been in the hospital since Sunday the 15th at 3 am. Aaron was feeding the baby about 2:30 and told me that Austin lips were turning blue. We checked the RSV check list and he had all of the signs except for the fever. We rushed him to the ER and they did some tests and then he was admitted for Bronchiolitis. Bronchiolitis is the baby version of bronchitis. So we were told we would be here a few days... no biggie.. give him antibiotics and suck the gunk out of his lungs and we thought we would be home by Tuesday. Tuesday he started having problems keeping the oxygen level in his blood at a safe level.. So they put him on oxygen... So now we have the antibiotic, the suctioning every 3-4 hours and the constant monitor of his heart and air a... so then we think things are going well and they tell us that he has pneumonia.. The Doctor ordered blood work and a urine test ( poor little guy had to have a catheter) and that went for testing. He was showing that he was breathing great and they took him off of his oxygen. We were in the cafeteria this morning and we ran into one of the doctors and he said we may be able to go home today! We were so excited. Then his pediatrician came in this afternoon and said that he has citrobacter which is not good and it can lead to meningitis. So this afternoon he had a spinal tap and we should have the results back by 5 or 6... now we are just playing the waiting game.

random pictures

Aaron captured Austins smile perfectly! Don't you just want to kiss this little face!

Austin adores his dad. Just like Me, He lights up when Aaron enters the room. Even though it looks like he is pushing him away, he is feeling Aarons facial hair
Austins little hand in mine. He is growing up so fast. Pretty soon he wont be my baby anymore.
Over Christmas break one of my buddies from SUU came to town. Craig brought his cute wife Carolyn and adorable little boy Caleb. This is a picture of Caleb and Austin together. Austin has just a little more hair than his cousin but I'm sure Caleb will catch up in no time!

Worlds Cutest Baby

Most of you have either seen Austin or seen the numerous pictures that we have posted. Everyone makes comments about his hair, he has tons!! This morning I was in the bathtub and Aaron brought Austin into me. Austin and I were playing in the tub and I laid him down so his hair was in the water. It cracked us up!! It was "flowing" in the water.. Aaron wanted to get the camera and take pictures of it but I didn't think it was appropriate. At one time I had Austin sitting in my lap and his eyes rolled back and he fell asleep for a minute. He loves being in the warm bath tub, he is starting to sound like his Grandma Ellis. ( my mom) She will take 2 or 3 baths during the day just to get warm. She cracks me up! Austin is 9 weeks today. He has been so wonderful to have in our lives and can't imagine life without him. If you can believe it, we already have people asking when we are going to have another one! Not quite sure about that. We figure when the Lord chooses to bless us again we will make ourselves ready. I have always dreamed about having a little girl to be named Jerra Marie. Jerra after my mom and Dad who are named Jerralyn and Gerald-- They used to go by Big Jerry and Little Jeri--- and Marie after me and my birthmom. Also my mother in law, sister in law and neice all have the middle name of Marie so it includes everyone. Not sure when we will have another baby or if we will be blessed to have another baby but we are greatful for the 3 blessings we have in our lives.
