Worlds Cutest Baby

Most of you have either seen Austin or seen the numerous pictures that we have posted. Everyone makes comments about his hair, he has tons!! This morning I was in the bathtub and Aaron brought Austin into me. Austin and I were playing in the tub and I laid him down so his hair was in the water. It cracked us up!! It was "flowing" in the water.. Aaron wanted to get the camera and take pictures of it but I didn't think it was appropriate. At one time I had Austin sitting in my lap and his eyes rolled back and he fell asleep for a minute. He loves being in the warm bath tub, he is starting to sound like his Grandma Ellis. ( my mom) She will take 2 or 3 baths during the day just to get warm. She cracks me up! Austin is 9 weeks today. He has been so wonderful to have in our lives and can't imagine life without him. If you can believe it, we already have people asking when we are going to have another one! Not quite sure about that. We figure when the Lord chooses to bless us again we will make ourselves ready. I have always dreamed about having a little girl to be named Jerra Marie. Jerra after my mom and Dad who are named Jerralyn and Gerald-- They used to go by Big Jerry and Little Jeri--- and Marie after me and my birthmom. Also my mother in law, sister in law and neice all have the middle name of Marie so it includes everyone. Not sure when we will have another baby or if we will be blessed to have another baby but we are greatful for the 3 blessings we have in our lives.

8 weeks old

Today our little guy is 8 weeks old. We are amazed each day how strong he is and how big he is. Last appointment he was 12 lbs 5 oz.. We don't think he is going to shrink.. His newborn jammies are too small and he has graduated to some of his 3-6 month clothes. At this rate who knows what he will weigh when we bless him in April. We decided to wait to bless him so Aaron's parents can be here. They are being released from their mission in Russia at the end of March. In Grandma Page's last email she said she can't wait to get her hands on him!

Tough Little Guy

This is the 1st of many pictures that I have taken of Austin where he is trying to hold his head up.. This picture was taken on Christmas Eve which made him about 3 1/2 weeks. I thank my Father in Heaven every day for such a healthy baby. We have been very fortunate that we have not had to deal with any major health issues. Last Sunday he was showing signs of RSV which scared me to death. We called his doctor and she told us to bring him right in...yes, that was scary too--- Luckily , Austin was just suffering from a little cold so we were very fortunate.. MAN , I LOVE THIS LITTLE GUY!!

Love

I

never knew how much I could love someone. When I married Aaron I experienced a new kind of love and didn't think that I could ever love anything more. Each day I grow to love Aaron more and more . I can't imagine life without him. When we had Austin I learned a whole new kind of love. Aaron and I will just look at Austin and realize how blessed we are to have him in our lives. This experience has given me a whole new appreciation for my birth mother. I have a hard time being away from Austin while I am in the bathtub, I don't know what it would be like to have to not see him every second of the day.

People tell you that motherhood changes you, I never knew it would be like this. I wouldn't give this up for anything. There are a few things I have had to give up like a doing my hair and make up on a daily basis, but I when I realize that Austin is totally dependant on me, I don't mind slacking in my appearance. My sweet husband tells me I look good everyday... sometimes I know he is stretching the truth but it is sweet of him to say it.

Our Amazing little Guy

This is our little Guitar Hero! We couldn't resist taking a picture. He has so many cousins that want to hold him it is rare that someone isn't holding him. :)
